Versace S/S 2016 Milan

Finally something different than the whole rock chic image we've been seen the past few seasons. So refreshing!

The beginning looks were so Balmain I can't even... This feels like three or four different collections in one, all of are just desperate attempts to be on-trend. Even the casting feels all over the place with its everyone-and-the-kitchen-sink array of well-known models.

There's some sort of Versace-ness to me... I might be in the minority here but it just ain't Versace without the OTT glam sl*t look. This looks more Dries Van Noten x Kenzo in this collection.

But it's great she's trying to go for something different

Maybe the most surprising collection of the entire season for now.
I didn't expected that at all.
At first i was confused but it is growing on me. It's fun without being tacky. It's like someone did a collection about the idea of Versace withouy looking at the archives.
This is maybe her most casual collection. Everything looks so cool and relaxed.
And that cast! AMAZING!

The minidresses on Raquel and Natasha are beyond good.
Good job Donatella!

There could have been a few more glam evening looks, but IMO this is what Versace should be. Fun, tacky, and sexy in the best possible way. Raquel opening and Natasha closing was also a nice touch.

Not bad. But i miss the Versace House traditions. It can be Innovation, Donatella Versace made a good Job, the collection is good- not bad.
Versace is not a Brand which famous of their accessoires, all this bags are really good but Versace is famous about the womenswear,menswear and leather. The *Medusa* is the image-symbol of the Versace House. Yes,of course , there are Medusa Heads in this collection but the Spirit of Versace i don't feel. It seems to be a Little bit "Just Cavalli" and Versus in this collection. Of course i like a lot of pieces, sometimes the clothes "live" are looking better that on the photos.
I make it short, Dontalla Versace wanted to make somethinh new, she succeed.
Every Versace fan will find the Look to buy in this collection.

I'm crushing hard on how good the show was. The clothes reminded me of Gucci when Tom was around. What a great experience to breath in Versace again without smelling garbage. Great job Donatella!

The collection is... meh... There are a few peaces that will become the thing... I loved the cast, though.

This show was very similar to her SS 2008 collection, also with the prints I did see some references of the early 2000s. With the jackets, some of it reminded me of LV. I would have liked to see more sexy glam evening wear myself. However, not a bad collection!

The two collections have safari inspirations. The SS2008 is a little bit more glamourous and dressy and this one more street and urban.

This is the best milanese show of the entire season. I can't stop watching the show.
So many clothes that i want to wear suddenly and the best bags she has ever done!
