Posh Spice won't be spicing up the reality TV universe anytime soon. Victoria Beckham has backed out of deal to star in a reality TV show for NBC about her move stateside with hubby David and kids.

The doll-like diva told Brit rag "The Mirror" that family comes before fame. According to a "Mirror" source, "the TV series was a great launchpad for her career ... but she felt she was being pushed into a corner and David was obviously always going to take priority."

What ever happened to girl power?

that's awful to say about girl power, that somehow wanting to show support for your loved one makes her a doormat or something. i swear, if she'd kept on with the show the press would've torn her apart as a bad wife or something. i say good for Victoria, making her own decision and not allowing herself to be bullied

Yeah, definitely. I've been watching their show and they are just so real - they have proper arguments, and they don't hold back. They're very genuine, and the kids are so cute. Junior should get the Cutest Baby Ever award. I was completely indifferent to them before that show, but they are very real.

When the Beckhams did a show for ITV, they argued, and Victoria told the producer she wanted it cut out - she's pretty stupid if she wants us to believe they are the one married couple on earth who don't argue.

XX...I think after seeing the pics from this weeks filming that both shows are so different. Victoria's appears to be taking on the US reality show format like The Simple Life and the New Tori show, whereas Katie & Peter are filming their actual day to day life. I think both will have a good fan base but different fans...there are enough out there for both to do ok

I know how you feel. I have to prevent my fingers from writing. I think this reality show will a trainwreck, people will still watch.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed with what the pics show from it...it looks a bit too contrived and not that relevant to some of her life - still we may be surprised!?
