thesiren said:viktor & rolf pieces aren't wearable for the most part, unless you're a truly stylish person who doesn't give a f*ck what people think. i can't see the masses who shop at h&m appreciating their flair, in the event the things that make it to the racks have that v&r touch.
harris_jonathon said:I must say I don't really agree with the collaboration, though. Victor and Rolf the men are also Victor and Rolf brand, so it's like the entire V&R brand is selling out...
...I can see why they'd do it (for $$$), but I'd rather have one exquisitely crafted garment than a million cheap imitations, even if it cost thousands.

MADONNA'S HIGH STREET MOVE
vogue.co.uk
IS Madonna about to sign as the new face of Hennes & Mauritz? According to a report in Swedish newspaper The Daily Expressesn, the singer is currently in negotiations with the company about posing for a campaign to advertise its new high fashion line – by Viktor & Rolf – that is due in stores in November. "She's a superstar, a style icon – and controversial. Now Madonna could be H&M's next clothing model," it said. While the company itself is being characteristically reticent about commenting on the rumours, the Expressen cites Madonna's long history of collaboration with Swedes, including music producers, songwriters, music video directors and yoga instructors, as proof that she may soon be its new model.
