20-30..sure, they're going the line even if they don't know who v&r are. they'll do their research.

35-40? i'm telling you...in this demographic they buy basics and casual pants.

anyways..i'm slowly getting excited for this...i have a feeling viktor and rolf aren't going to do anything outrageous.
seems to me though that by this time last year, stella was pretty hyped. at this point nobody even knows about the collaboration.

well I'm 33 and I promise you I do NOT buy only " basics and casual pants". That's a bit of an overly general statement.

It seems I've finally lucked out: My pending trek "oop north" to the Twin Cities will probably occur in the earlier part of November. Which would seem to coincide perfectly with the line's expected release The nearest H&M location will be at the Mall of America, which I normally have minimal interest in visiting - but hey...

My hopes for a likeable collection were furthered by a snippet in this month's W:

I'm a little disheartened though, by the fact that I've been known to sleep past noon...

the MOA store won't carry the V&R line...

I gotta sgree with Susie on this..V+R does seem like a weird choice for H+M. I dont know how it will appeal to the general H+M buyers. This collaboration is going to be interesting tho..lets see if it gets a good response..when is it due to come out anyway?

I haven't posted here in a while. I thought it would be fun to share with you guys an illustration I did for Planet Magazine (Planet-mag.com) next issue, an article about V+R for H&M. I decided to make it a little "find the season" game type illustration, reference past collections.

jefei the V&R for H&M wont be in the stores till I believe around the 9th of November? (The 2 previous times Lagerfeld and McCartney hit the stores for the public was on a Thursday, the 2nd in the month of November.. don't ask me how I remember...but I'm fairly sure of this)

so, i got to see the advanced samples for HM! hmmmm....I wonder if any one is interested in my opinion... ;-)
Okay to start, the theme is a bit New Romantic...Vests, lace etc. There are shirts for men with arrows on them, the shirts are white button ups (not exactly my cup of tea, but I could see it work with the right outfit). The other mens items are things like...A nice peacoat, which is nicley well made, um...oh sturdy dark wash jeans, and nuetral colored trousers. Oh and a gray sweatshirt with a big glittery arrow <-------- Across the middle.. Onto the womens clothes:
Well there were like four dresses that I saw... I really liked one of the black ones it was really good material and was probably my favorite out of all the clothes. It was a sort of cocktail dress... not it was more casual I think...It was kind of french looking to me. Sorry i'm not the most descriptive person! Other womens things! Oh yes, there was a trench, for like 120 dollars, and it was pretty good, much better than HM quality, it was heavier fabric. And the other dresses had ruffles down the front and where kind of mini-polkadots...one in olive tones and one in black, I didn't like them very much, but to each is own... Well....Sorry ladies thats all I can remember! :-)

not so sure i really would wear any of the h&m v&r stuff...
but i still think it's fun and good...

hanne- that is a CRAZY memory you have there.......

i do think that the ADS are going to be cool...

^ No problem! I'm interning at a magazine so I was happy as can be when I found out they had the samples. The prices are pretty good, I think deserving of the quality... The majority is 40-120 with some of the more basic items and accessories going for like 10-30.
I'm looking at the pictures on my computer desktop and amm sooooo tempted to post but I'd get in trouble if I did..sorry guys
