I'm not sure this is strictly true - I find you can pair some Viv bits up with everyday stuff quite well. I own three of her jackets and can pair them, for example, with jeans and they look great. I guess this could be because jeans are a bit of a "blank canvas" and wouldn't compete with the strength of her designs. I must say I don't pair her stuff up with any other designer pieces so maybe you are right! Her tailored shirts can also be paired - I've worn them with trousers, jeans, shorts, minis and long skirts plus some vintage items too.alistar20 said:That's so true! I always thought it was just me being a Westwood freak but her designs are so distinctive they rarely look good with other stuff

I've had to go down 3 sizes on some styles and take 1 size bigger than normal in others. You really have to try them on and judge for yourself, but if you can't try them the shop assistants are usually very helpful about which ones are bigger/smaller etc.
If you can post pics, I might be able to help!

Those shoes are fantastic!! (& a bit unsettling) a perfect example of how Viv still pushes boundaries (more-so than most designers a fraction of her age)melt977 said:Thank you!
