Vogue Australia January 2019 : Emily Ratajkowski by Nicole Bentley

Ugh, stop with the babble, Emily! Don't care. She's like the slightly milder but equally annoying version of Chrissy Teigen. And what's more annoying is that fashion magazines continue to give them a platform.

If you look at the cover without any bias, it's actually stunning. No doubt mainly due to Bentley's photography, but also everything else came together nicely. Love the atmosphere. A far cry from the weather where I am right now.

Does that top come with the chain? A bit much with the gypsy belt as well. So odd! Just yesterday I watched an episode of Condor where an assasin chained a woman's wrists around her torso and drowned her in a bathtub. So the chains here leaves a bitter aftertaste.

Well, the cover certainly reflects how incredibly hot Australia is at the moment (in some places it's apparently 44C/111F today ), so much so that even having Emily lounging about fully clothed in a bathtub full of water outside doesn't seem out of place  Not sure why she's got chains across her torso (maybe she had a tussle with the plug) but I think the overall shot is lovely - the framing of the shot works for me and it's very in line with the current Australian climate, the sunny summery outdoors. Thank you for posting amby :)

This cover proves that all Vogue Australia needs to get back on track as one of the more consistent Vogue’s is getting back to some homegrown talent. Nicole Bentley and Will Davidson made it what it is today, Glad to see her back shooting this cover.

Like her or not, this is a stunning cover. Aesthetically very pleasing and Emily has been looking great in Paco Rabanne lately. I still have an issue with that condensed font though, it looks so tiny!

Really good cover, not much else to say. I'm sure the cover article is cover to absolutely horrible.

I actually like it. It is a cool photo, I love that tub and the pose. Although I'm not a fan of hers, I think that she is pretty.

I don't like pictures when they look too HDR because they look too fake, but I've seen worse pictures and photoshop disasters so this is decent in comparison.

The masthead in white would look better than that red, but this cover look good

I like it. She looks beautiful.
I don't understand mixing the galvanized chain around the shirt with the gold chain belt.
But that's the least complaint

She's really stunning, the cover is nice, but something around the neck area bothers me so much, I cant get pass it.

The cover is okay, but I can't stand Emily and her "look at me I'm a feminist and I can wear whatever I want" attitude. Okay girl, we don't care. If you call yourself a feminist and have such a large platform, why don't use it to do/say something useful instead of wearing crop tops? And the fact she has become famous because of that video, Blurred Lines, and now she has reinvented her brand as the new defender of feminism is pretty funny. I just can't stand celebrities using the whole "I'm a feminist" thing to gain consents between editors because now it's chic to be a feminist.

Yes Paco Rabanne! Come through with the paid cover of your Ambassador!
I like it. Well executed!
Her brand is sexy and she is doing it effortlessly here...

Enough with this dum-dum. Vogue Australia is the lost link between Vogue US and W sometimes. Jeez.

Its a great cover! She looks effortless and not trying too hard to be taken seriously. I like it

By the way the chain top was paired with these pants on the runway. Paco Rabanne, like every other brand nowadays apparently, has a full look policy.

That’s the Nicolas’s school...
And I think that when MAS is involved...It’s full look policy.
