Vogue Australia July 2017 : Paris Jackson by Patrick Demarchelier

Sorry mods - could you please add the year in thread title, I forgot to include.

Boring, i don't get it why the celebrity kids are become famous.

It's actually not that bad. She's beautiful so she really doesn't have to work that hard. With that being said, with a face like that she can afford to take more risks in her pictures.

Nope. Vogue Australia get it together. Hideous layout as per usual.

I wish magazines would challenge Demarchelier more. It's always the same covers from him these days - studio, cold, same pose.

She looks horrible... the cover looks horrible esp the face she is making... the styling is atrocious like none of the clothes look good on her... a total waste of a cover...

As a long time Vogue Australia reader, i've noticed a significant decline in the magazine's quality and voice. Where is the support for local models? No disrespect to Paris Jackson, but i'm not at all interested in spending $8.50 to read about her. I read the Rolling Stone article, it was sufficiently interesting, but what more is there to say? She has the kind of wealth to do anything she wants, why is it such a trend for rich kids of celebs to play model? Not to mention the colour palette of the cover is hideous. Readers deserve more than this.

Not bad, I expected worse to be honest. The blue really pops, so maybe a yellow masthead would have fared better. The styling is very easy on the eye, but this is essentially a celebrity feature. Very little modelling going on here.
I'm no fan of Paris, and I simply don't know why she's all the rage all of a sudden. What's her story, other than being Michael Jackson's daughter. It's somewhat sad to see how they've been shoved into the limelight after Michael worked so hard to keep them out of it.

I cannot believe this child got a Vogue cover before her legendary Aunt, I just can't! SMH

I actually like the cover, it looks fresh and Paris is a beautiful girl. I just don't understand why she is getting all these covers lately.

Her tattoos are so very trashy and ugly. Yikes.

The styling is not right for her. She doesn't have much presence.

Pretty girl but I will not be buying this.

Patiently awaiting the return of grown women to magazine covers.

Literally! Jan has been a style icon, not to mention a groundbreaking artist, for thirty years, while Paris has yet to achieve anything on her own yet. She's very pretty, but being pretty is not synonymous with being photogenic nor having actual modelling skills. Also, what's up with the interview via text message?

She's a pretty girl, but I don't see the point of her being in fashion magazines. Someone's working really hard to make her happen, but they seem to have overlooked giving her a purpose for these appearances.

I remember her complaining people are only interested in her because she's Michael Jackson's daughter, but maybe they're focusing on that angle ad nauseam because there's not much more to currently say about her.

And interest in the do-nothing daughter of a famous person is likely to wane - and who knows what direction the ploys for publicity are likely to take then? I don't get a good feeling about any of this.

As others said, she is good looking but this is nothing more than a celebrity feature of someone who's not even really a celebrity. A waste of a cover if you ask me, not sure why Vogue Australia even has the need for her. Do Australians (or anyone, really) care about Paris Jackson?
