I hate all 3 covers, she looks sad, tired, unhappy and uninterested. The entire editorial is also very gloomy. It's like: are you really talking to readers with such pictures and boring covers??
Looked at the issue today, and the magazine has been redesigned, dropping the ugly italicised font and the leftover fonts from the McCann era. It is very minimalistic, and even though I'm not a fan of Centenera's Vogue, this new direction suits the editorials that she produces.
I do like the baby blue color on the cover's masthead and typography (third cover). It works well with the colors in the photograph. My favorite shot in the editorial is Lorde in Prada.
^^^ No. Same mids ripping off older issues of late-80s Interview and mid-2000s VMan— just that they’ve added Hedi’s publication contributions circa 2007 to their rip-off art direction. This Vogue is professionally produced, but it’s all just so bland. The page layout through the issue is still that nondescript, generic airline magazine aesthetic, with the sole fashion advertorial looking exactly like what's found in an airline magazine and a department store catalogue I’d worked on ten years ago. Australia's only claim over us nobodies' works are the starpower of the celebs and the bluechip brands.
Musically? Her debut and sophomore albums are really good, if you haven’t checked them out already, mepps. The others are unlistenable generic new age pop veering towards caricature to my ears. Even her voice is generic nowadays, sadly.

It all just appears so gloomy, hazy, and depressing. Vogue Australia always used to spark joy, and now it just sparks... sadness and depression. The colouring and lighting from Daniel Jackson's photography here is awful, almost like he's attempting to impersonate David Sims.
