This! .. this may look like Bazaar or even a shot found somewhere at Russh and it's mostly because these magazines still shake it up a little, just the way I wish more Vogues did.. even though I loved Kirtie's work for the magazine, this opens a new chapter that will hopefully make Vogue Australia even more exciting now.

I agree with everything you just said.
I'm from Aus and even if no one is familiar with her as yet, as far as looks go it could be a model cover. It's a stunning image.
As for the subs covers - I love them! As it's been stated so many times before- there seems to be more creativity / striking images used. If I love both covers enough i'll just buy the newsstand also. I don't think it's a huge deal at all.

I love it now that I see it in better quality, it's such a pretty image. This woman is beautiful, I like her expression. I was surprised at first that the cover works in spite of the red overload, but seeing that Will Davidson shot it it makes sense now, he has such a way of working with the same colors on a large scale without it looking annoying. I get a whimsical feel from this, it's so nicely done and it looks striking. Very excited to see the main editorial and the other content!

Incredible! The new editor and the new team are a breath of fresh air! The cover is truly incredible! The colour palette is beautiful and very alluring. This is easily the best Vogue Australia cover this year!

Hopefully she's just on board because Davidson and here are frequent collaborators. I don't want to see Vogue Australia turn into RUSSH, because Oyster Magazine already sort of has.

I totally agree with you MulletProof. Its nice for any Vogue edition to really shake up their aesthetic and if the result is something like this, well I'm all for it!

Its also been confirmed that Jillian Davison is now Vogue Australia's Creative Director.

Big fan of Will Davidson and hopefully he will work more for the mag, but would not have recognised this cover as his, but never mind.......it's a lovely cover and Bella is very pretty indeed. The layout is perfect IMO, the fonts are subdued and 'sitting pretty' says it all really.
