You have Anok, who can be quite limited when it comes to her facial expressions, and then you add this overhyped male model next to her? This cover had no hope from the start.
Looks like a cancelled shoot from Walter Chin for Vogue Japan, not in a good way. Could have turned out way better though.
I think that Walton spend too much time watching ANTM...
He is cute but too « fierce/smize ».
Those are beautiful covers. Simple, effective and more than that, it’s always good to have darkskin black people in the cover of a magazine in Brazil. It’s a sign of progress to see them more and more in VB.
And we thought Yasmin was bad, lol...Anok baby girl, not trying to hate, but gurl!! get you a mirror and practice facial expressions at your place every night.

Well, Yasmin eventually improved, and I think it's because she had the support and still booked Vogue covers throughout the 'teething' stages. She still takes 1 step forward, 2 backwards, but for most I can tolerate her in print. But I agree with you, Anok really needs to work on her expression. I flipped through a magazine yesterday and saw her energetic Max Mara campaign which instantly made me smile. That was good, more of that, please.
Anok has such an incredible face, but she can't rely on that all the time. She's giving this same look in every single shoot. It's just boring and vacant. If Kendall did something like that people would jump on the hate wagon immediately. Surely they wouldn't call the covers stunning. Compare her Vogue Korea, Japan (individual shot) and this.
Alton is boring too.
