Vogue Brazil March 2019 : Mica Arganaraz by Zee Nunes

First cover of Mica I like in AGESSS what a change she looks to have some fun and its a nice change of her boring look

Hire Mica and you know what you're going to get...

Speaking of seeing (live) birds on covers, it's a wonder that people haven't been more outspoken about the use of feathers in fashion, given the amount of articles devoted to making vegan lifestyle choices. If people are boycotting wool, surely feathers are an even worse form of 'textile'?

I´m actually pleasantly surprised! I really like the first cover, the second one is useless though, it´s like an afterthought or an outtake.

Not bad. I'm not blown away or anything but I like the covers.

First time EVER I see a different expression in this girl's face.
I like the first image a lot. She looks very pretty. (also first time I've seen Mica looking pretty. She's really not my cup of tea, but she looks very diferent here)

I really like the first one. She looks so much better with a slight smile.

Mica for Vogue Brazil? Didn't worked last time and is not working now. There is something off about it, her pose maybe, Im not buying.

she's on the cover of brazilian Vogue, but not the Latin version yet. Shame.

Oh God, don't remind me of the first one! Lol. The thing about Mica, and her enablers, is that theyre so unremitting about this mop-haired dopey look of hers that I'm forced to sort of come around and just appreciate it for what it is. I really like the execution of the blue cover here. It's how I would've dealt with 80s fashion, something which at this point I'm positively fed up with. Begrudgingly, lol. Stripping away as much of the 'noise' of that look via the minimalist layout and backdrop.

I hope Karla delay even more in giving her the cover!

I like both covers. They look neat and she looks beautiful.

I'm not sure why people are boycotting wool! The way I see it, the way shearers obtain them should be regulated, not the actual product. I imagine the excuse with feathers is they are almost entirely a by-product. To source them ethically one must harvest only during the moulting season when geese and ducks shed them naturally. But it does feel like I've been seeing ostrich feathers more than ever lately. I guess fashion must be so happy that ostrich meat is immensely healthy and growing in demand, so here too they can say that the feathers are purely a by-product.

I know Burberry got into hot water a few years ago, pre SJW internet, over a trench coat entirely covered with peacock feathers which I thought to be rather wicked. But as with most birds, the feathers do actually grow back.
