Vogue China February 2008 : Du Juan

btw, any changes in the Vogue China staff list?

Yep. Lots of changes actually! I compared the list with last february issue and here is what I got:
President, Executive Editor, Managing Editor, Senior Editor have been changed.
Two Fashion Editors and one Fashion Features Editor have disappeared. And now there are only two Fashion Editors!
Three Feature Editors are now replaced by a new one.
Only Beauty Editors are all remained as the old ones.

I don't know whether there have been already some changes during the past one year because the recent few issues(i.e. November, December issue of 2007) are not within my reach. But this is really a BIG change for a magazine!
I hope it will be better in the future.
This issue is not bad imo, but I expect more from VOGUE China!

I hope it's a change for the better, China Vogue has been OK, except that there is too much bias among those in charge in the selection of models. The layouts are sometime unrefined and "try too hard," and the covers aren't the most polished, but I chalk it up to them using many new and young photographers unlike a Penn, Avedon or some of the past legends. One last thing their covers have to have less writing, they have to dictate to their Chinese readers that less is more, it should be the cover image that sells copies not distracting print.
