I'd like Nicole Kidman and Kate Moss back on.

I don't know about Thandie Newton...I've only seen her in Mission Impossible 2, and that movie was CRAP, thanks to John Woo, he messed it up...disgrace to the first film...

Anyway, I'd love to see Hilary Swank too. And maybe Chloe, too. Christina Ricci, and maybe even Dominque Swain. Wonder what she's been up to.

You know, as much as I wonder what exactly Britney is doing these days, I don't regret that she graced the cover of Vogue.. she isn't a model...and she certainly isn't an icon in terms of fashion, but she definitely WAS an American Icon and America's pop darling at that point in time, and I think she is a HUGE part of American music and pop culture history, if not worldwide. She was a cute, hardworking, all American girl with catchy music and an enormous fan base... I really think she deserved it.

And all this is coming from someone who is not even really a huge Britney fan lol

well , I don't know why, but each time I open a US Vogue, I am under the impression that I read a glossier version of marie claire or ELLE ... I know that for some it is the bible, but I always found it plainly souless... It saddens me that such an institution has to put actresses or singers on its cover ... especially when it's britney spears !
With paris vogue, we are luckier : there's only one celebrity a year, for the chrismas issue. Last time, it was sofia coppola, and before, catherine deneuve, and they are redactor in chief... I think it's a more interesting concept

Wow, i just noticed that F. Vogue doesnt feature celebs. Even though my French is awful, I always pick it up over the American Vogue. The only reason ANYONE graces the cover of the US vogue is to push some movie or music. Think about it. Whos on the cover right now? Barrymore. And shes got that baseball movie coming out. Honestly, Vogue has lost a bit of its appeal IMO. I dont enjoy the articles that much. Call me crazy but I prefer Elle to Vogue. Its more interesting and just feels younger. (dont get me started on some of their cover choices) I just love the beauty sections and the articles in general.

i totally agree..i'd love to see Vanessa on the cover..she has such a different style ...from all the clones that are often featured there.

and i'd really hate to see emmy rossum on Vogue one of these days..not because i give that much importance to the cover per se but because she annoys the crap out of me. Teen Vogue was enough.
