I can't complain about these "youthquake" themed issues because I have mad respect for Diana Vreeland, but I must say that those covers are overly-crowded and all over the place. Korea did it better.

If I’m being kind and encouraging, it looks like they tried to conjure the mood of greater talents like Mario/Meisel/Lindbergh (paying tribute to Avedon) shoots with a phalanx of men and women looking so glorious together.

Sadly, the truth is it’s so lacking in experience and skill— and that goes for the casting, styling and hair/MU as well, that it’s on the level of students cluelessly putting a shoot together 2 hrs before the assignment is due. And this sort of unqualified mess gets a cover on Vogue these days. …LOL… Dire days.

The total lack of composition makes this looks as unfinished as any cover I’ve seen. No cohesion in the styling either…

I'm usually fond of Vogue CS's covers and inside stuff but this is not thrilling me for a single second... Hopefully there is at least one interesting editorial within this issue.

The colour of the text is nauseating it looks like a pill. I think black text would have been better

i like the concept and in comparison with the flops of the past this is such a elevation. but the whole thing is too busy and nothing stands out. the photographer should have taken a self portrait instead - he's hot!
