Vogue España August 2018 : Faretta by Camilla Akrans

Beautiful pictures she expresses a lot with her eyes. The cover is so gorgeous. I'll buy this.

Faretta has a far more interesting face than I first imagined. She can look like a sulky teen but there are also all sorts of interesting angles in her face.

But it's the hair - her straight brown hair works to great advantage in an editorial like this one, but it also makes her beauty easy to overlook. Give her a dramatic change of colour, and I think people would see her anew.

I'm also choosing to believe this cover story is about a girl living on her own in a radioactive village.

Much prefer Faretta's cover of Vogue Russia, this whole nomad concept isn't for me but that Chanel jacket does work beautifully in those surroundings in the cover shot, so kudos to Cathy Kasterine on that.

Zorka can I ask you is Vogue Living also part of the magazine? Or is it sold separetly?
Can I ask you to post any content if it is part of it?
I would be forever grateful :flower:

Also thank you for posting the rest of the content, it is very much appreciated

↑ Please, check the PM, or as is call now "Conversations".

While I don't care much for Elsa Pataky's edit, I think the rest of the edits posted by Zorka (thank you! :flower:) are lovely. The edits are coherent, the shots are lovely and vibrant. Although the poses are still styled they don't look so forced, or at least the girls have made it look effortless; which means a great effort from them and less eye twitching for me as a viewer! :D

The "TODOS A UNA" editorial feels a bit too winter in the middle of all the sun and outdoors. I'm just glad that an August magazine feels like an August edition. I was trying to figure out if winter was coming earlier this year or something. I love the general editing of the magazine too. All (except the one) editorials feel so "in place" here, so Spain.

Faretta is one of those breathtaking models that looks cute in every picture. She was a very appropriate casting choice for this setting, looks beautiful. Really love the editorial with Adrienne Jüliger too.

Camilla and Txema's editorials are unsurprisingly my favourite, both so talented
