Vogue España May 2022 : Ángela Molina by Camilla Falquez

Just shut it down already. What a shame, this editions really used to have a certain spark to it a couple years ago.

terrible cover...inside there are much better options....sometimes photo editors ruin everything to be honest...

I love the cover and ed. There's something historic about the cover even if the composition is a little off. The editorial is happy and has a glow different from how these magazines like to photograph older subjects looking watered down and pale.

I feel like there's someone in an office somewhere, being paid to generalise that the Spanish are a very passionate people, you know, so their covers have to be strong and colourful, but the Germans, they're more intellectual, so use lots of cold white space, and let's not be afraid of making things seem ugly....

From the anglo- saxon world ...

Flicking through this online (190 pgs), the content includes three reprints from the current issue of UK Vogue - the fashion editorial in the shopping centre with the beauty editor, the feature about refugees, and the jewellery edit that was somehow worthy of being considered as a fashion one.

Also has a Vogue France reprint, photos from elisaveta but i dont remember what issue is from

These days, you never can remember where you first saw something, only that most of it isn't worth looking at twice, never mind seeing it cut and pasted across five different editions over a span of several months.

I love Angela Molina and her face remains as beautiful as always…but that cover is atrocious. Her close-ups would have been much better covers.

Sad that nowadays you just an original cover and that’s it…since the content consists of the same awful reprints from Patagonia all the way up to England.

I was so happy reading the title, Angela Molina sounded like a dream and brought back some sweet memories from my younger years but the result isn't exactly as thrilling as I thought. Quite a pity because they had a stunning opportunity to make an interesting cover and story (and a statement...).

Can't say I even knew who Angela Molina was, but it's wonderful to see a mature woman grace the cover of Vogue and always nice to see homegrown talent being supported. I'm assuming this is perhaps long overdue, so based on that alone, feels like a celebration.

A shame the cover itself, however, isn't cause for celebration. Any of those closeup portraits would've worked better as a cover! No wonder Juan Costa Paz slapped the huge 'Angela Molina' text along the bottom.
