Vogue España November 2017 : Raquel Zimmermann by Christian MacDonald

This is, without a shadow of a doubt, exactly the type of magazine cover that I'd consider parting with almost £10 for! The cover's a total testament to how a truly wonderful model can elevate a concept into something... extra. Raquel's just standing there but she delivers much presence, sophistication and glamour - I'm all for it.

Well this is disappointing. I was expecting a full on glamour type of shoot that I've been wanting to see so much. Instead it's a completely different type of shoot, something I've seen a million times before. What a waste of Raquel, she would do glamour so perfectly.

A pity, this could have been so much more. The black & white and mostly zoomed out pics aren't the way to use Raquel.

 Indeed they did not know how to use her. WASTE of a supermodel, wrong photography, story = boring!

What a huge disappointment. I was expecting a glamorous and beautiful shoot ...i feel robbed

No connection between the editorial and the cover, such a shame.

This is a sort of reprint, because US Vogue in their October issue printed only the first image...

Me too, feel absolutely robbed and completely deflated! I'm not even motivated to click a single thumbnail from Raquel's cover story, TBH. Guess they just pumped all the glamour into that second shot of Maryna Linchuk in #49.

Nevertheless, I simply cannot deny this is one of the magazine's most strongest, most sophisticated and most glamorous of covers over recent years.

My copy just arrived today, because despite the issue not offering anything of interest, I find the cover incredibly fabulous and I caved. As expected, the cover is even more gorgeous in person and I just love how glossy and reflective the cover is (don't remember Vogue Spain's paper quality being this decent).

Did it arrive in store or did you order it? I suspect my local store has stopped stocking Spanish Vogue, because this issue didn't turn up at the usual time, and after a while, I stopped looking for it.

^I made an order on Newsstand's website. When I used to read Vogue Spain every month (quit reading after the February issue), I used to have to make a special order with a local newsagent to source me a copy because it's never been readily available here.

Oddly enough I've found most of the international magazine have been taking a while to arrive here. I'm usually able to grab a copy of Vogue Paris no problem but this month it has been late and I ordered the November issue with Newsstand also. They're quick to increase prices but not quick to put the latest issues on the shelves.

Just bought it! It's so beautiful in print, but I didn't see the inside yet. I spent a lot of money for this. Compared to the Latin Vogue it costs the double . But it's Raquel, I've expected for this for so many years.
