While it is indeed a stunning image, there is absolutely nothing about it that resembles the identity of Vogue Paris. I don't care that it's Vogue France now, you don't erase 100 years worth of legacy like that. But I am still looking forward to the complete story, it looks promising.
Ugbad bears a striking resemblance to young Iman here, it's the first thing that caught my eye. Stunning.
I miss the excess and luxury from Vogue Paris. Vogue France is safe and imo, lost the French touch. There's nothing French about it. It reduced itself to a mere run-of-the-mill Vogue edition.
While this is decent, its just okay. You had Ugbad and Mona and this is what you end up with. This is 1990s Vanity Fair at best.

(How Harper's Bazaar treats their archives is shameful.. but that's neither here nor there and I'm getting riled up about Bazaar in a Vogue thread. Anyway... )
so politically correct, so boring, so Edward, no personality, no sexy, no glamour... Edward / Emilie you're clearly not made for what should be vogue france...
It doesn't look like Vogue. Where's the panache of French fashion ??? Where's the glamour and sex appeal and strong poses and cool styling ??? This looks like a yoga ad, not the french cover of the most powerful magazine in Fashion. A big NO to this.
