Vogue France August 2025 : Anok Yai by Mario Sorrenti

At this point in the print world this is major

I would have picked the one in zebra pattern to be the cover because it is… MAJOR!!!

Now that is a fantastic cover, finally! One could nitpick certain flaws here, but it finally worked. I've got to give credit where credit is due, Claire appears to be genuinely trying to achieve something within the confines of this magazine and it is perhaps finally starting to pay off. Make Vogue ParisFrance.. greatgood again? We'll see.

Mario Sorrenti for a 3rd cover in a row... I mean thats tragic, and these shooting made in the same place and time (Gisele, Imaan and now Anok) with a same color scheme, guys, c`mon thats aint funny. The shooting itself is better than Gisele`s or Imaan, but the whole idea is super primitive and since we have different image crop size (which i hate) i guess the print will be full of white background.

Gisele was shooting in Miami

I love Sorrenti. Covers look great. Back on good old Vogue Paris route. I love what Claire is doing. Choice of models, covers, editorials. It’s all good.

sorry but no
moreover, Carlin story was done there too, how lond will we see these St Barths stories? September too?

The Gisele editorial was definitely shot in Miami, they thank two Miami hotels in the actual magazine and a Miami Beach production company.

It also does not thank the St. Barth tourism office like the Imaan and Ida editorials.

It's definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, got some of that old-school Vogue Paris allure. All of the components are present and accounted for - and I'm kinda massively here for it. Anok Yai looks superb here, I just love how bold, graphic, and attention-grabbing the cover is. Way to go, Claire!

The issue is short but worth the purchase.
