Vogue France November 2022 : Grace Elizabeth by Angelo Pennetta

Conde Nast's position is absolutely clear, it's right there on the cover. The Wintour-Enninful axis has deemed Dolce & Gabbana totally welcome at the table. The money is more important than anything else.

So in principle, if you don't support Dolce & Gabbana, you shouldn't be supporting Conde Nast.

But people will make exceptions... because reasons... and Conde Nast will also have their reasons... because in real life, principles are hard to live up to.

If you can look at that cover and realise you care more than Conde Nast does, and then go straight to consuming more Conde Nast content, it's important to be aware of what your reasoning is, and make peace with those reasons.

I'm able to echo everyone else's sentiments toward French Vogue being a shadow of its former self. A real crying shame, and I did guess it was only a matter of time before the magazine succumbed to shared content as its main cover feature.

However, I will admit that this is far from the worst cover of a fashion magazine I've seen - it's just a vast departure from things past. I love the fact Grace Elizabeth scores a Vogue cover and approve of how dominant the image itself is with the Dolce & Gabbana look. I may, however, would've preferred the image of Grace wearing the corset and posing before the red car as the cover but I'm not complaining.

I won't hide the fact that I am still purchasing French Vogue every month. I do know I ought to quite condoning this mess of a magazine but I simply can't let go just yet!

Thankfully, Conde Nast makes it awfully easy to not support them with their dreadful content across multiple titles.

I used to trash Alt and called her magazine Vogue Jeans like 13463068026 times in this forum but I have to admit, she was doing great in her last few years at the helm. Some high quality issues indeed.

I think Alt started her career in 20 ans magazine and at that time she could only style the clothes like Levi's and Dr.Martens...no many high fashion brands garments for that magazine. Her root is in street style and no high fashion. Karl said it perfectly.
