Well this is a huge surprise. I like it that I'll add a Tina cover to my collection.

Styled by Nicola Knels, Tina wears Giorgio Armani.

this is most surprising of all vogue covers in a while but I love Tina so i am not gonna complain at all  hope the ed is great too.

I literally had to take a second look at the thread title to see if i had the right person hahah, what a glorious surprise. She looks wonderful, its great to see someone her age being on the cover, exuding grace, and being natural, there is an easiness to this image, love it.

Tina is certainly an interesting choice for a Vogue cover. I love her so it's great to see her. I don't think she looks her best here, but I always appreciate when a magazine puts an older woman - can you believe she's 73? - on the cover and doesn't attempt to make her look like 20, although there definitely seems to be a lot of photoshopping involved here. But this is nice! ^_^
Vogue Germany seems kind of lost in terms of what aesthetic they want to follow with their covers this year, none of them have stood out to me as typical Vogue Germany covers. But seeing as how I complained about the boring, always the same Alexi Lubomirksi covers they had last year I welcome this variety in photographers and cover subjects they've had in 2013 so far. Looking forward to reading the Jil Sander interview, as well!

What is Tina doing that is relevant right now? [I don't mean that in an insulting way, just seems an unexpected choice for Vogue Germany].
So cheesy with that tagline.
Interested in the Jil Sander feature.

Wow! Gotta love Tina! Such a lovely surprise to see her on the cover.

Don't care for Tina Turner, why is she relevant now? You do see her age too come on y'all...

Well, she is more European now, and has been for years. This makes sense to me and she looks spectacular, and also not too airbrushed, which is nice to see.

This is totally unexpected but it's a wonderful surprise. I like it when magazines feature older women on the cover, its refreshing to see. While I think they doctored her image a bit too much (as magazines always do with cover-stars) I still like that Vogue Germany decided to take a more unusual route. Tina looks pretty amazing at 73!

Tina Turner, such a surprise, I did not expect this at all! Its so different from what we usually see. Great cover, well done VG :D

Fabulous at Every Age.. as American Bazaar would put it.

I won't hide the fact that I was obsessed with Tina Turner throughout childhood and just loved everything she released - own all the albums and DVD's. So, I mean, you could imagine the delight when I saw the thread title. This is such a welcomed surprise.

Tina Turner doesn't have to be doing anything in order to be "relevant". She's TINA TURNER. She's a Legend.

It's wonderful to see her on the cover of German Vogue! She looks beautiful and glamourous.

Fantastic selection. She truly deserves a Vogue cover mostly because of the amazing looks and fashion choices she provided as inspiration for many years to come!

an awesome unexpected treat though am not so keen on the smile shes giving. I think she lives in Europe now so no surprise to see her on a European cover cant wait to see the ed

^ She lives in Switzerland. I read that she applied for the swiss citizenship - after 20 years of living there.
