Vogue Hong Kong April 2021 : Gisele Bündchen by Kevin O'Brien

It's so predictable, isn't it?

Her predictable, carefully branded imagery is still leagues superior to everything that is in fashion now. She’s still a beautiful woman and I’ll take that over another gormless, pubescent-looking child swallowed by a ton of clothes, any day. And accessible, earth mother Gisele is all you’re getting if you want her for the cover of your rag: Forget about slinky, oiled-up glamazon vixen— because that’s apparently sexist/misogynist/male-gaze oppression these days, and no rag wants to faux-anger the twitter twits. So all the Supers that still want to remain relevant better be an activist/humanitarian/Mother Teresa now (….but you’d better fly them first-class.). Which is why I’m so glad Yasmin Lebon/YasmeenGhauri/Kristen McMenamy aren’t clambering for a comeback and faux-raging with the kidz. Frankly, I couldn’t care what fashion models have to say unless I’m having a conversation with them personally; although, supporting a good cause is still better than the morons that are adamant that Covid is ruining their youth and stopping them from having fun.

So I’ll gladly take earth-mum Gisele; even in her predictable and on-brand styling. She still looks a Super.

I would take this super predictable Gisele over pre-pubescent looking grown-ups too
