Too bad Meisel never shot Danila Polyakov after this!

You know - Meisel is about one of the only photographers who can have the models lounge around and stare blankly at the camera and still give you a compelling image.

It's like every editorial and photographer these days give us the same apathetic teenager moping around - I would assume in the hopes of creating images on par with the likes of these from Meisel's archive - but they always come up short and completely lacking in any kind of nuance.
