I mean in the case of Kendall she definitely had model looks but people said the same thing about the Hadids and kaia. I do think she seems way too short thoughSomehow Lila’s career is more inexplicable to me than Kendall, Gigi, Adwoa, Bella, Kaia, etc. etc. etc. because they all have conventional model qualities and in my opinion they can look super striking in print. Lila, who is a very pretty person, simply does not look like a model, yet she also doesn’t have the social media following or name recognition to justify it. She has 112k followers on Instagram. Come on! The others had doors opened for them, but, at least in some cases, have put in the work and kept with it for the better part of a decade. In Lila’s case, her surname is the *only* reason she’s getting work, and it doesn’t make sense because clearly she’s been unable to leverage being Kate’s daughter into gaining a following of her own. So what do these brands and editors gain?
