Vogue Italia July 2011 : Juliane Gruner by Steven Meisel

It used to be that a gatefold advert would give Vogue Italia the opportunity to use the second 'cover' page as a landscape extension of the shot, an interesting continuation of the theme. Not this month, it seems.

I didn't like the cover at first but now I do. The main ed looks so great.
Hope the other eds are decent too.

Uhm, I suddenly remembered the September 1997 cover with Kirsten Owen. Weird.

Anyhow, those previews look definitely interesting. Love the Prada shot!

I think the styling is great and the main editorial in general is beautiful styling wise.
The black and white shoots are a bit repetitive and similar to old Meisel editorials..

Not so keen on any of the other eds..
