The casting for Meisels part is phenomenal. A great mixture of interesting new and old talent. The cover reminds me of his Louis Vuitton campaign with Lara Stone; is the editorial any similar?

I like the cover, its not pretty or dainty or glam but it definitely isnt bland or boring. I actually feel the fall in this cover. I like VI this way instead of experimenting with photoshop effects or scrapbooking twitter or any other of those over the top cheesy concepts.

The rumour about Steven Meisel and a certain super stylist was never cleared up. Everybody thought it was Sauvé, but that wouldn't make sense because of their history together. Normally Katie Grand is doing styling honors, but for the current LV campaign they hired Karl Templer, this made me believe Katie Grand was the super stylist Steven Meisel didn't want to work with again after 2 seasons.

But I thought it was Sauvé who styled the last LV campaigns right? It the end it was never confirmed who were involved. (My guess is it's Peter Lindbergh and Rachel Zoe, due to the fact he left Hearst for Conde Nast).

Yes, I sound like a broken record but it is a shame since 1989 to 1995 she's been featured in VI regularly with some fantastic editorials... but sadly never got the cover... I guess bcos Meisel never liked her... and all the editorials were shoot by other photographers except from one I guess... I don't think this will happen...

Anyway I am Glad for Eva... after 20 years of hard work she definitely deserves VI cover and if you ask me, she should have got it earlier... I just wish the cover was as amazing as she is...

You're right, Marie-Amelie Sauve styled the last 2 campaigns for LV. My mistake.

Might I just add that - according to MDC - this is not only Eva's first VI cover but first EVER collaboration with Steven Meisel as well.
