Meh this is not going to have an impact and next month's cover model will weigh the half of this month's again. Just like the All-Black-issue. The idea behind this aside, I think the cover is beautiful but I think it could be even prettier in colour.

I just hope they don't feed each other in the editorial but I don't think I have to worry, Meisel is not that tasteless.

There's nothing understated to me when you have your legs spread while dining in lingerie. To each it's own.

The girl on the left is supremely gorgeous, I wish the cover was her alone, looking glamorous at the dinner table, rolling the wine around in her glass, with plates piled high with luscious food, expensive coat slung casually over the chair, and a dishevelled tablecloth, all hinting that she's had a good time indulging her appetites.

I could do without the spread legs at the dinner table, that's something best saved for later, I feel.

A restuarant setting combined with a table full of food. That is indeed a very strange and uncommon combination.

I know right? Why the hell are they in lingerie at a Restaurant? Of course plus sized women can't be made to look beautiful without being half naked and glutinous. We get it these girls look like they eat, you're trying to change the industry
Would it have killed them to be more subtle, like putting these three girls in a salon setting like the Louis Vuitton ads with Christy, Karen and Natalia?

Having said every girl looks beautiful.

I see references to this picture at a Parisian Café by a legendary photographer whose name I cannot remember for the life of me right now (where's iluvjeisa when you need her.. ). And I absolutely do not see that glutinous aspect in the photograph, not even a celebration of excess, I may err on cheesiness or just an insistence to "glamorise" situations but all I see are three young, confident and sensual women enjoying themselves at a café, the picture, the way it's composed seems to be wanting to capture the life of women with ordinary occupations or lifestyles (not necessarily models) who are unconcerned about the usual conventions set for women of eating little, drinking in moderation, laughing in moderation, wear thick tights and keep your legs crossed , be concerned about your figure and show it, etc... maybe I'm looking too much into it.. but I certainly don't find it degrading in any way.

When I read the title, I was like 'Who the F are these models that Steven Meisel keeps putting on the cover,' but after seeing it, I'm impressed. They look gorgeous, in a real bombshell but classy type of way.

I love this cover, simply adore it! Three amazingly beautiful women in a superb shot. Meisel has done it again. He's pure genius when he wants to and this time he's brilliant. Can't wait for the main editorial. Belle vere, indeed, these three models.

Love it. Absolutely luxurious and sensual at the same times. It reminds me of the Shana Zadrick stories with Meisel, plus a little Robyn McIntosh thrown in for good measure.

I completely agree. Best cover of the year so far imo.
