How sad that Vogue Italia has zero momentum. No one talks about it prior to its release, no one talks about it after its release. The cover hasn't even been released on social media and it's already published in digital - and I can tell you for a fact that as soon as I close this thread and return to my book I'm going to forget about its contents. Maybe that's just me. But Mariacarla would usually spark a bit of interest and excitement in me. This does no such thing.
I'm not quite sure why they felt the need to draw her eyebrows like that. There's no story to it, it doesn't complement the rest of the look and it looks unneccessarily messy. So the cover is sloppy from the get go. That corset instantly reminded me of a door mat and now that's all I see. The editorial isn't a cover story, it's a filler. A good filler, but a filler nonetheless. I don't care for it and it isn't memorable at all. The other story is the same. Another issue with no substance.
It's unbelievable to me that Italia, literally one of the four giants in fashion, has fallen down to the level of whatever this is. It's shameful how a publishing house sabotaged what used to be their greatest asset with petty policies and nothing but profit in mind. Shameful. Someone should update those peoples Wikipedia so that future generations can recognise idiotism.
