Gisele looks absolutely gorgeous, but from the neck down, it’s painful to look at.

The pose looks so awakward. The styling is very lazy.

However, this is still miles better than last month’s cover.

Vogue Japan should seriously UPDATE their art direction/layout. They’ve been using the exact same one for years now. Even US Vogue is trying something new for almost a year now.

So true about the art direction, Mon. I thought this was an old cover for a split second.

I do likee the shot. It's fresh and sexy. She looks great here, and the styling is definitely a nod to the old Gisele. Of course Luigi & Iango had to retouch the life out of her. Honestly, they need to stop with this.

Wow that second cover is a radical departure from what Vogue Japan typically offers. She looks beautiful there, too!

I love them both - but of course, I am a massive Gisele fan and so am probably biased to some degree. It's wonderful seeing her each time :)

Much prefer the close-up shot. The first one looks so dated. Not to mention those Dior bra straps need to GO.

Idk the eyes look weird to me. It’s like they’re too scared to let a wrinkle slip through that they photoshopped every natural crease of the eyelid into oblivion. I would have almost preferred they photoshopped her pores and freckles. If you’re gonna do it do it all the way. This just makes her eyes look 2D while the rest of her face has texture.

The second cover is gorgeous! Sad that such cover will never see the light of day. They’ve done this before. I think the group covers shot by L&I also had individual covers which were never on sale, but were only previews for the main editorial. Also, notice how there’s no price on the second one.

I absolutely love it! Both shots are gorgeous! so happy she's back!

Love her pose in the first shot!

The first cover looks like since they never got to photograph her when she was young, they wanted to retouch her to hell and get that look.

The Dior looks hideous, but Gisele is working it. I like it when they edge her out, the bombshell look get's boring after a while.

Wow, I'm also here for Gisele. Both covers so really great but they have to retouch the hell out of her beautiful face.

Side note, I didn't even notice the Dior strap. I thought it was a D&G playsuit as a nod to her D&G campaign.I guess that's the sum of Maria Grazia's Dior.

Honestly, nothing to complain about. She's just magic.

She looks SOOOOOOO YOUNG!!! OMG I thought it was a picture from 1999 like whaaaaat ahahaa amazing!!! I love seeing her on Vogue covers over and over again :) such a pro!

Looove. The retouching isn't even bad here, and the dress can be mistaken for Dolce 2007 (if you squint).

The date says 2018, but the photoshop on the face says we're back in 1998.

Hahaha, even the styling looks like 1998. Someone said it's more Dolce & Gabbana than Dior, I agree.

Now this is how you start the year, hope it means more of her on covers in 2018! Everything about this is perfect.

She is still the best model in the world! luv!
