I agree the products and that thing (her left earing maybe) is very distracting, but even though they would have taken those things away, it wouldn't have made a cooler image for me. It looks old fashion and weird but not in a cover-cool kind of way. It's like a dead photograph.
the cover is boring and lifeless to me. One of the shots from Malgosias edit wouldve been a far better cover, she looks so beautiful, the styling is spot on and the scenery is amazing.
Reflection from the Mountain Tops is absolutely breathtaking. Take note Vogue Paris, THIS is how you take advantage of an outside location. The cover on the other hand is just so bland. She looks frozen and i totally get that winter vibe from it. They could have used Kati so much better. Bummer!
I agree the picture of that Chloe pochette and cream product is very distracting and annoying. But it attracks readers' attention. It is how they sell more copies, i.e. free gifts.
Even with Kati Nescher, the cover is not all that, I do admire the colours and the overall look, but nothing flash. To me, Malgosia's editorial is such a complete bore. She's had countless other stories of the same nature that have been more compelling. Malgosia's presence is lost in those pictures, I think.
Really? She always reminds me of a "less severe" version of Mariacarla. Nonetheless, Kati continues to WOW me. She has more than lived up to the hype she garnered after SS12 shows. Great campaigns, cover after cover; and this IS the best Vogue Japan (Nippon) in a very longtime.
