Vogue Korea December 2024 : Amelia Gray by Luigi & Iango

I can't stand Amelia Gray, I don't know why. Oh no, I do, because she seems extremely bland with nearly zero skills. She reminds me of Lola Bahia and Lola Nicon, they were nearly everywhere for a season and then poofed out of the existence in high profile things.

It is not their fault entirely, the girls get propelled to the height without years of prior experience, because they are fresh and are the new thing.

Does anyone in Korea care about these people?
take this with a massive grain of salt given I'm not Korean so really shouldn't be speaking on it, but hey this is the internet, it's my prerogative to espouse my unauthorized opinion, based on what I've seen translated on other forums and social media.

There's a substantial amount of Koreans who have an interest in Western culture and Western celebrities. Particularly lauded are 20th century American and European actresses that created niche phenomenons in Korea in the 90s/2000s (just look up "Korea, Olivia Hussey" for example). Hence I could see the cinephile crowd being interested in an Isabelle Hupert cover.

Gigi is a pretty well-known name in Korea too, as far as Westerners go, though more recently her image hasn't been the most positive due to some old controversies and her declining appeal as a model.

For Amelia Gray on the otherhand, as in America, very few will care. Other nepos like Lily Rose Depp, Deva Cassel, Kaia Gerber, etc. get buzz in Korea because of their legendary beauty mothers, but I don't think Lisa Rinna qualifies Ameria for such a category
