Vogue Mexico/Latin America December 2015 : Karlie Kloss by Russell James

I like it. It's a commercial type cover done well. I think some people always want some avantgard type sh*t on every cover and don't consider the market place or demographics. I can totally see this appealing to the Mexican middle class. Its far better than her UK cover. That was commercial done wrong.

The photo is so amateur looking and SO catalogue it´s not even funny. Russell James should not do any Vogue editorial or cover, all he did so far has been REALLY BAD COME ON ! He´s great for beach and sexy photos but NOT Vogue or high fashion, it´s not his fault, he just does not know how to photograph clothing. There´s nothing wrong with his style for beach photography but he does not know how to deal with clothing. That´s why there are different photographers for different jobs. The fact people like this mess is beyond me.

IMO avant garde and Vogue don´t belong in the same sentence
they could have made a commercial cover that looked better than this, some elements like the white background (which makes the image look too catalogue-y), the awful photoshop on her face (what are those bulging eyes?), the amateur layout... all that could be easily be avoided so the end result would still appeal.

Sick of her.

Ugly cover and all, but at least it's festive. Something other covers lacked and everyone's has been complaining about so there: a nice jacket for Christmas and some fireworks for New Years.

I'm sick of Karlie too. She doesn't brings anything. She's more like a celeb now.

Too much photoshop and the expression on her face the the pose are too much.

I certainly don't mind a cheesy theme for December, but at least make her look fantastic. Karlie's a great model, but when it comes to a cover, I'd rather see a shot of her face at a good angle, rather than this - or what we got on UK Vogue.

I really adore this second one. Very lovely and much better than Vogue UK!

where is this magazine going?....

How did they select so many shots of Karlie with the same ange? It's a bit distracting. Caroline's editorial looks lovely, the vibrant colours works well, but it looks more US Vogue to me. They're more mad about these awful wigs Who styled this?

Thanks so much for posting the edits, IndigoHomme! :)

Caroline´s ed is indeed a reprint from US Vogue October 2015.
