It has a sort of holiday look to it, and I don't think it's necessarily the color. The second cover makes the same impression =)

I just imagine opening it and there's a spread of her in the red coat drinking hot coffee. Or with a wooly blanket... x) Something...

....maybe at least try to do a story and cover for the region....

Not sure why they don't do this. Especially since there are more readers in South America as a whole, than in Mexico.
Yet despite Mexico being in a different region, it simply doesn't make sense for them to have their own exclusive edition. A 75K circulation doesn't sound all that that sustainable to me. Together, they're more stronger and profitable.

Vogue is targeting a 30 percent circulation boost to top 400,000 issues by 2019 by boosting circulation in Colombia, Peru and Chile, where circulation hovers at 70,000, 23,000 and 22,500, respectively, Talamas told WWD recently. The goal is to increase circulation in those three countries to close to Mexico’s nearly 75,000.

^ in Argentina only a few international brands are available but in other countries of the region that's different. Every now and then they have local girls that work internationally on the cover wearing labels, Cecilia Mendez wearing LV a few years ago pops in my head. At this point, I think Bazaar is bigger than Elle in terms of brand (they had Mica recently).

Oh Koko (like one of my favourites characters from Mulholland Drive) Argentina's Bazaar has K&K on the cover. That's very tacky to me, I say not to that... I will keep with Vogue, ELLE and GQ.

Can they say no to them on the cover? Cause every Bazaar has them so I thought it was a must as a brand.

British Bazaar say no to them! But in the past Argentina's Bazaar had great models on the cover (like Naomi Preizler, Melina Gesto or Mica). Thanks Koko for the sugestion, love your scans ^_^

I don't quite know how that works, probably all the editions are obliged? The UK edition ran multi-covers, and one of them had K&K on it. Argentina could have gone for one of the models if they really wanted to avoid them.

Thanks so much for posting, IndigoHomme!! :)

It's always surprising how they always manage to overlook the cover option in the main feature. That last image of Andreea is clearly the better choice.
I quite like Hans Neumann's nautical and effortless feature, reminds me a bit of Alicia Vikander's recent British Vogue cover story. Great issue, so far. Except 'Menudo deseos', of course. Everything looks so messy here.

God knows why they didn't use the last shot from Andreea's editorial as the cover, since it's oh so gorgeous!
