a renaissance of style is one of the best editorials this year for me

I really like the mood of the ed with Tati and Suzanne... suz is really gorgeous.
They are making a great duo, very nice to see this edito.

No Crime to be Rich reminds me of the Spring/Summer 2008 Louis Vuitton campaign, I love it.
The colours are gorgeous and I love the styling. Which is unusual for me, since its styled by Katie Grand.

Never Enough looks phenomenal, to say the least. I've never been more attracted to Alessandra! I'm a sucker for that styling.

I'm kinda disappointed with Raquel's editorial. But that Yves Saint Laurent shot is just.. woah :woot:.

This would be such an excellent issue if it wasn't for the touch of evil provided by Katie Grand and Anna Dello Russo in 'No Crime to be Rich' and 'Never Enough' respectively, not only the titles and the entire execution is something to feel pity for but also the sequence of all these gorgeous autumn stories and the mood created is killed right there. The fact that they are two of the busiest women in fashion and that people feel compromised to hire them in order to create hype or validate their magazine through their vulgar approach to trends is just.. really sad.

I agree with gossiping, A Renaissance of Style is quite the highlight here.. I love how individual, slightly eccentric but still coherent each look is and Tommy Ton does such a good job at creating a balance between capturing what makes these clothes so special and a sort of mundane atmosphere in his photos. Is this the first time he works for a major publication btw?, he should do it more often..

thanks for all your scans, MAGstyle.

I have to have this fantastic issue, best one this year from Vogue Nippon.

^ I agree, especially welcome after September.

^really? idk 3rd and 4th are good (typical tommy ton attention to details) but the rest are just meh....idk if Hans did it . it might look good

but yeah "No Crime" is worse....

so in love with the tommy ton edit; good to see them allowing him to adapt what he does on his blog to a magazine editorial.

Tommy Ton should stick to his blog

indeed.
that ed is just too "meh". the photography is meh. the only thing that saves the ed is the styling. adr should keep her blogger friends OUT of the magazine. and i don't see how that ed is something ~new~ and ~groundbreaking~

i love the sorrenti and the sundsbø ed! the sorrenti ed is so wonderful...i love the shot that had lots of skulls, it's so romantic and gore-y at the same time! love

This is one amazing issue in print. I've had a whole new appreciation for Never Enough and No Crime to be Rich.
Vogue Nippon is always worth the purchase, when it comes with supplements. The Fendi magnets are kinda.. interesting too.
