Vogue Paris June/July 2010 : Kate Moss by Mario Sorrenti

^ wow, bardot is eternally an icon in vogue. almost every issue has something bardot.

Disappointed with En Vogue. Beautiful images, just the layout bothers me. Full page images work better, for a section so small.
But as usual I can't wait to pick a copy up. Vogue Paris never fails to have allure in print! Thanks Diorette ^_^.

Iselin's shoot looks electric, such enthusiasm and energy. Thanks for all the videos too!

i am so disappointed. the months change, but the clothes, photographers, stylists and models stay the same. I understand having loyalty and a certain look, but Vogue Paris is getting more redundant than US Vogue in its editorials. In fact, the only eds I really liked was the Givenchy one, which featured a celebrity (the horror), and Iselin's.

I've just (finally) picked up a copy on the newstand... I'm a subscriber but still haven't received my copy. I've called Conde Nast and they're gonna send another copy but I couldn't wait...

After such a long wait I was afraid i'd be disappointed upon seeing the magazine in real life, but everything is amazing, beautiful and glossy. Just what I needed between 2 exams!
And I must say I'm surprised the Freja/Lara ed gets so much hate - I think they look gorgeous, the styling is good and I like the simplicity of the photography. Overall, not a single ed I would not keep!
There's a couple of pretty pics we haven't seen, like Constance (great shot) and Karmen Pedaru for the Zoom section...

But the best thing about this issue is the DVD... Beside the Dior backstage thing that is a bit useless, the other 2 features are amazing!

The beauty shoot is very graphic and fun, Iselin looks great and seems to be such a cool girl! They put her through a lot during the shoot but the final result is amazing, shows how much of a pro she is (although I like that you sometimes see her struggling with the make-up or standing still, models are humans after all!)

The 53-minute documentary is the best documentary on models I've ever seen. It's fun, it's endearing and it's very well done! Each girl gets to show her personality, and beside the 5 main girls there are a lot of cameos (Stam, Maryna, Vlada, Karlie...)

Freja - that girl is badass. I love how chilled she is, and she looks absolutely stunning. I'd love to hang out with her!
Natasha - she wasn't featured as much as I would have liked her to but you can tell she's a true professional
Sasha - she is the cutest! So melancholic and cheerful and nice!
Constance - just adorable. Carine really seems to want to push her so hopefully that means a cover in the future!
Sessilee - gorgeous girl, it broke my heart to see she did almost nothing during PFW... Carine says she doesn't understand why and she hope Paris gets her appeal next time

It may sound sadistic but I just love how the film shows how difficult a job modeling is (the endless waiting, the short nights, early calls, rushing between shows, people pulling your hair...). I don't think models get nearly enough credit for the job they do and this film is good in that way!

I can't wait to watch it again when my second copy arrives

^ Those pics are gorgeous. I love the photographer duo. Thanks for posting!

And thanks for the link, kp1234. I'm surely going to buy this issue but flipping through the whole pages beforehand is just good. :D

I am so curious about the full DVD content...in this issue.

Les Filles En Vogue film is so amazing. I really enjoyed it.
Natasha is divine. And I fell in love with Freja.

I'm very dissapointed since I received my copy without a DVD ??!!

^do you live in France ?
No ...
Too bad ...

not to sound too mean, I do believe the DVD (and other 'gifts') are only distributed in FRANCE !

good you edited it because it sounds mean
I just didn't know you only recieve the dvd when living in France.
I pay the same amount of money (even more if you count shippingcosts...), so it would only be fair if I recieved it too
But indeed... Too bad :(

I had a similar issue once when they didn't send me such "bonus gifts" that were included with their issues (I'm a suscriber and I live in France). So I called their customer services to complain about it. They said these gifts were for the people who bought the magazines in the store, not the suscribers (in my opinion, that's not logical at all, suscribers are the ones who deserves bonuses if you ask me), but they agreed to send the stuff I missed to my home.
Anyway your case is unfair too, you should call them or write an e-mail to complain about it.

I don't think it's really unfair, lots of people who aren't in the country where the magazine is published don't get supplements for many magazines and I don't think it's THAT big of a deal. Most supplements aren't made for the international market and only a very slim number of magazines send out their supplements anyway.

Maybe some of the generous folks at TFS can give us deprived ones more tidbits from the video :flower:

I'm sure someone will post the full video somewhere once the documentary has be broadcast on TV
