Vogue Paris May 2021 : Hailey Bieber by David Sims

The couture editorial is the only good thing out of this issue. So pissed off with what they ended up with working with Natasha.

Alt doing the same thing she was doing in 2011. It's crazy she's been doing the same for 10 years... Thank god I gave up on fashion a while ago.

Fashion being openly anachronistic can't be fashion. It doesn't exist anymore, it's something else that I don't even know how to name yet.

I just got this issue and totally hate the jeans ed...Alt should be the creative director of Levi's seriously I mean it:alien:

facts.

come back!!! I have always loved to read your comments, so much knowledge and insight!

plus I know you like Claudia Schiffer too :flower:

I'm biased toward Alt and Vogue Paris but this one issue alone has given me more than what the likes of American Vogue has given me over the past several months.

I'm easily pleased and happen to love Hailey channeling Debbie Harry by David Sims, even the couture story by Paolo Roversi (who I don't usually care for) has impressed me, in particular the photographs with Malika Louback. The striking bijoux story with Maty Fall Diba takes me back to when Thomas Lagrange would contribute to Vogue Paris on the regular.

However, I'm more than willing to admit the Miss Vogue feature with Natasha Poly is a total disappointment, and is without question Natasha's weakest story ever for the magazine. What a shame, and a total waste of Natasha.

Nevertheless, £5.95 well spent and far more of a bargain in terms of fashion content as opposed to a wafer-thin issue of American Vogue priced at £8.50 which barely resembles a mainstream fashion magazine of late (which I still hesitantly continue to support and buy).

I have a suspicion that Alt will be next on the chopping block at Conde Nast. She just doesn't play by the same rules as Enninful and Wintour.

She was fired yesterday

That was (although reliable) just a rumor, nothing is confirmed yet.

expected but still, GAG!

can we please have Anastasia Barbieri with Fabien Baron and Karl Templer on Vogue Paris now aka in every single edition, pretty PLEASE?

who will replace her? is there a thread?
tea’s piping hot!
