Vogue Paris November 2009 : Isabeli Fontana by David Sims

:woot: graffi-couture is amazing! and this time it's not just a good photographer and a good model - emmanuelle did a great job, too! hopefully this ed won't be an exception and she'll surprise us again. i also LOVE the makeup.

raquel's ed is beyong amazing, very interesting idea actually.
thanks for scanning diorette!

The two eds posted so far are amazing  I just don't like the fact that the cover shot is part of Isabeli's ed, I mean it looks editorial enough so publishing the picture as the cover AND as part of the ed looks a bit as if the original cover was pulled and they had to find a replacement... I still think it works though

Emmanuelle's edit is ORGASMICALLY stunning! Every image is a work of art. Everything works so well: the styling, the saturated colors, Raquel's MASTERFUL modelling! This may be one of my favorite VP edits of the year, if not ever! I am still taken! This may be the best Raquel has ever looked in print. And that is saying a lot! Now I am very disappointed she didn't grab the cover. One of these images could have been SO powerful. And I have a feeling she was originally slotted too, seeing as Sorrenti shot her and the hint from last month's supplement. I wonder what happened?

Thanks SO much for the scans Diorette! Can't wait to see the rest of the issue! This is FANTASTIC work!

I was thinking the exact same thing.

Raquel's editorial is stunning, just as it should be with Sorrenti, Carine and Raquel. There are so many incredible shots, that I can't even pull out my favourite. Thanks again for your scans Diorette!

This issue is shaping up to be the best of the year! I am so excited! I can't wait to see what the other edits look like!

As I think more about it, Raquel's edit reminds me a bit of Coco Rocha's edit in U.S. Vogue last year where she was impersonating different comic book figures. I LOVE the graphics juxtaposed with the stark, austere couture. Everything is just TO DIE FOR!

And Isabeli and Raquel's modelling in this issue proves why they are still on top of their game after all of these years. Two of the best in the business, by far. Carine hasn't worked a lot with Isabeli recently, but I hope she collaborates with her more frequently, as their work together is magical!

So now the writings on the cover are black instead of gold. Still don't like it. And those eds... It looks like amercian vogue... BAD!

^The lettering is metallic gold, it just looks black when it's scanned

I am SO in love with Isabeli's editorial.WOW.A million thanks Diorette:flower:

Raquel's ed is just amazing and stunning. I'm so loving it.

Raquel's ed is a cute concept but not that original inspiration...Lady .... anyone?

Plus that Valentino looks awful in that modern setting, bright lighting.

No I'm still not giving VP a free pass just because one ed is decent...it's still been horrible this year.

i hate it when sorrenti shoots this way. i dont know how to put it but it just makes me feel uncomfortable looking at it. so far its pretty boring, both photography and styling-wise. the only thing im fond of are those prada panties. cant wait for the raquel fur ed.

thanks for scans Diorette! :flower:
