I cannot believe that one of the shots from the Raquel ed wasn't chosen for the cover. This is actually boggling my mind right now. The story is perfection - great concept, wonderful excecution, I love it.

the cover is a total mess, the text is way distracting. it is SO distracting that you can't actually pay attention to the model, at least i can't. i don't like it all. but isabeli's editorial is fantastic, raquel's too

Sorrenti has done a superb job with Raquel in her editorial. Glamorous lady/urban landscape been done many times before but the colours and the overall feel are very eye catching.
Isabeli's ed. is good also but I feel like I've seen it before......only maybe featuring another model.

The cover looks so much better in darker colors but I'm still not a fan. And I don't like the editorial either. I think that if there wasn't any bodypainting and her hair was natural it would look ten times better.
On the other hand, Raquel's editorial is out of this world. It is SO good. I absolutely love it. For the first time this year an editorial styled by Alt didn't look boring and that self-reflective. The execution is also fantastic.
I'm loving to see Raquel by Sorrenti. I hope there's more to come

I just flicked through it and it's a good issue. The Raquel editorial Diorette scan is absolutely stunning. But I've to say I'm really disappointed by her "fur play" editorial... The Une Fille, Un Style feature is awesome, I just love Iris Apfel

I was flipping through the October 2006 issue of VP today, and, to my complete and utter surprise, there was an editorial entitled "Fur Play," shot by I&V, with Raquel modelling. So is it a coincidence that in this issue there is an editorial by the same name, with the same photographers, and the same model? I think not ! Talk about recycling concepts !
