The Paris editorial is so beautiful. Even the cover shot itself is beautiful, sad that it was ruined by that god awful art direction

I really love « Paris Fétiche ». It’s my second best ed from this issue with « Ca c’est Paris ».

Nouvelle Vague is fine. I can’t get enough of Alasdair’s photography.
I don’t know if Christine is still Nouvelle Vague after so many years in the entertainment industry.

i think it's a good issue.... Milan and Paris are my favorites....

After seeing the pictures without text and getting over my initial disappointment, I must say I've had a change of heart.
For their 1000th issue it's not that special, but it certainly turned out to be my favorite September Issue. It's packed with great photography and great models, there are no unnecessary cheap baggy clothes and no Collier Schorrs. It's just good old Vogue Paris.
I'm also rather happy for Rianne. She's not the first model to get this treatment and when you compare the quality of her work (in today's standards), she's deserving of it. Would love to see Vittoria get the honor as well. I still really hate the art direction of the covers but as usual, the content inside makes up for everything else.

This turned up in my store today - but just copies of the punk cover. I think that's also the only version listed on newsstand.co.uk, so I wonder whether London is the only export cover for everyone?

I live in Holland. I got the Milan cover. Saw the New York cover in stores too.

New Yorker here, I could only find the NY cover.

I'm really not a fan of the styling in the NY story. It's not real authentic NY style imo. It's just obviously NY style through an European viewpoint. (Not sure if that was the intention). NY women don't wear their bandanas as belts, or like headbands ala Axel Rose. Tying it into a cute bow or turban would make more sense. The pants and denim was all wrong. Who rolls up the cuffs of their jeans, with socks, and penny loafers? It's too much. If you're rolling up the cuffs of your jeans it's with sandals. If you're wearing socks and penny loafers it's with a skirt. Lastly I have not seen a single New Yorker wear cowboy boots. The styling just came across more like costumes. Loved the hair though.

I wish they had used a European / French stylist who has a firm grasp on American fashion (like Ondine Azoulay or Marie Chaix).
