So the Vogue 2020 values are "being torn between having children and wearing Chanel"? This is all pretty hideous.
^^^ A solid issue with one of the worst, most awkward, amateur covers of any Vogue. The poor girl looks terrified-- like she’s about to crash out of the department store display window she’s trapped in.
Its accompanying 13-page story W Drodze Na Szczyt is actually full of winter wonderland whimsy— and filled with much much much stronger selects than the awful covershot. The mood and tone is very Goldfrapp’s Melt Mountain: It’s that good.
Another solid solid is Omotana. Shot on-location in a fairy tale-esque forest, it’s such an understated charming vibe to the whimsical main feature story.
The other stories are Piekne Cialo, Przebisniegi, and (Miss Vogue) Wiecej I Wiecej.
More than anything, this team knows their art direction and every page is pulled together seamlessly and elegantly. That I admire above all else.
(I'm sure the usual gentlemen will be sharing the stories shortly.)
