The girl is very beautiful, and it's brave of them to go with green, which isn't a very popular choice for covers. But this is very simple, almost too simple. The lack of make-up and frumpy dress renders her somewhat of a wallflower, the green on green doesn't work, and white for the coverlines?

It is just too plain for any magazine really. Maybe ELLE France and only because it is weekly.

Another month wasted on a random girl. Come on, Vogue Russia.

That said I do like the effort for doing something more natural but it could have been way better.

I didn´t recognize her at all
the only thing I like is the ear sticking out... cute.

But this is very simple, almost too simple.

This would look much better if they chose a more charismatic model with a strong presence. I don't wanna say Natasha, but... Natasha.

She looks so much like Sasha Pivovarova on this cover. It's nice and natural but I wish it was Sasha.

Oh my goodness, what's happening here?

Despite the many flaws, one of the prettiest, mood enhancing covers I've seen this year, even the past few years.

I love the cover concept, fresh outdoorsy, femmine vibe but definetly lacking in execution as so often is the case with most covers these days.

The choice to shoot Willow in the shade with the tiniest stray bit of light on her chest, rather than highlighting her face, facial features is puzzling.

The cover image is lacking a main focal point, unless one counts the model's dark roots made front and center with her center part further highlighted by the "G" in Vogue.

I would've darkened Willow's brows and gone for a wash of brick, brown eyeshadow to bring out her baby blues. Love/hate relationshionship with that dress. The color, embroidery is pretty but all that gathering in the sleeve resembles a lampshade.

As much as I loathe Photoshop, it'd be interesting to see if some savvy post production would've saved this cover.

Gotta give newbies a chance, even Natasha was a newbie at one point
I don´t think Natasha would have suited this type of sweet, romantic styling... she´s to much of a force.

I don´t know what they did to her face cause she has a lot more presence in print imo.

I'm really happy for Willow and I love the green, it's a lovely shot but nothing impressive.

Yeah, guess I'm not into that whole 'sweet innocent little thing' type of shoots. Gimme a glamazon. (Then again, Natasha's first VR cover was horrendous lol)

I usually hate green on covers, so I think Vogue Russia did a good job here. I like her ear sticking out, but it's true Willow doesn't have much presence.

She looks like a little elf, gorgeous! Dislike the dress but congrats to Willow on bagging her first cover!

WILLOW! Been a fan since she opened Prada then starred in the campaign. Amazing sunny personality & super talented singer/musician to boot. I love the off kilter cover choice to use green as it compliments Miss Hand's 60s Woodstock Summer of Love vibes. Looking forward to the main ed.
