Despite the many flaws, one of the prettiest, mood enhancing covers I've seen this year, even the past few years.
I love the cover concept, fresh outdoorsy, femmine vibe but definetly lacking in execution as so often is the case with most covers these days.
The choice to shoot Willow in the shade with the tiniest stray bit of light on her chest, rather than highlighting her face, facial features is puzzling.
The cover image is lacking a main focal point, unless one counts the model's dark roots made front and center with her center part further highlighted by the "G" in Vogue.
I would've darkened Willow's brows and gone for a wash of brick, brown eyeshadow to bring out her baby blues. Love/hate relationshionship with that dress. The color, embroidery is pretty but all that gathering in the sleeve resembles a lampshade.
As much as I loathe Photoshop, it'd be interesting to see if some savvy post production would've saved this cover.
