Vogue UK August 2007 : Drew Barrymore

1karina1 you are amazing, thanks for all of the scans,i know how time consuming scanning is,so thanks a million,we appreacite it.:flower::heart:

Ok so cover is not bad, just boring, actually any of the picture from her spread would make for a better cover.
Also like someone before mentioned,as soon as i saw it,i thought of Mischas cover, wich is not nice, repetition that is.
Its actually strange Sienna didnt get the cover, non? One would think after Kate Moss and her TopShop collection granted a cover,so would a line from Sienna Miller?!?!But maybe the whole Kate media exposure and tallk about the line backfired a bit.So on that note Sienna and her sister might be better off with just a spread and article.I onlz really like Cedric Buchets edit.
Tim Walkers is nice, but the whole idea is a bit tired, the same for Patricks edit.Actually that might be the theme of this issue, nothing new or innovative here, specially comparing to Vogue Italias and Meisels brilliant cover.Hell even Vogue Greece got me more exicited.:innocent:

I can't wait to get this issue! Thanks for all of the eds! I can't stand Drew Barrymore, but the cover is quite beautiful. I love Coco's ed as well as Iekeliene's. :flower:

Thanks for your hard work karina :flower:. Drew looks nice on the cover

I usually don't like Carol in every ed, but wow!!! She looks like a doll/old hollywood star!

good contents...
Median Line and Iekeline's eds are very good...

Iekeline's theme reminds me of Keira K. Vogue US spread... in a different way... it's very very good...it's so different than this KeiraK. in Africa doing her 1930s safari... there it looks like a late XIXth inspired modern woman explorator enjoying her life with aborigean (??) and this old man with the umbrella is so cute! the story is very good... and Iekeline trying to "camouflage" is cute... she must have great fun overthere... all the people taking part of the shoot, they must have fun, too...
I almost cry when she's on the bus and when i see the shadow of the plane...
we feel the emotion there's no so much in Keira K. editorial

the last image of Median Line is just amazing... and the Marc Jacobs shoot is as good as Lara Stone in Vogue Paris...

a pretty good issue...

Is IMG working overtime to land Drew on covers? I just don't understand what her appeal is. and I SWEAR!!! if I read another stupid publication talk about what a blockbuster producer she is I'm going to explode. I mean come on, anybody can hit pay dirt with a movie. Demi Moore's company produced the Austin Powers movies, but you don't hear every damn rag talk about her as if she was Jerry f*cking Bruckhiemer! and that's counting the fact that the Austin Powers franchise proved to be alot more lucrative, with each sequal outperforming the last. Unlike Charlie's Angels 2, which was a total failure and hence no C.A. 3.

thanks for the scans, Tim Walker is incredible as always!!!

I don't mind the Drew cover, it's okay. I like the eds. The Demarchlier ed looks like it's from Vogue US, but Coco and Caroline look good. And finally an Iek ed again.

im wondering, are the new Burberry ads already out in this issue? :flower:

Thanks for the scans, karina! I love Coco & Caroline ed most.

Is it possible that drew dissappears for a while!!!!:yuk:Why this need for drew!!!:yuk:i like her as an actress!!! :innocent:,but her invasion in the fashionworld is getting ridicilous.!!:yuk:somebody must have made an pact with the devil!!
