The only thing that bothers me that 99% it’s gonna be one cover image only because Pierre et Gilles never making editorials, only one picture - their work is too complicated and expensive for a story.

Bad technique, bad ideas, no imagination. What's worse, Elizalde tries to make up for his many shortcomings either embarrassing models with ridiculous poses, or piling up on references to imitate, from Bruce Webber to Chadwick Tyler, which is quite a range, to say the least. No one escapes from his mediocrity, not even Mica, who can get away with virtually everything. Even though this editorial looks more professional than his usual mess, it cheapens the issue and ruins the glorious cover. Or it taints it, at least. Glory is hard to ruin.

I believe it is a hint to Melvin Sokolsky's iconic "Bubble" series, the first pic I am talking about. Of course, Fausto Elizalde to Melvin Sokolsky is what Lindsay Lohan for Ungaro to Olivier Theyskens.
