W February 2017 : The Movie Issue by Craig McDean

Am I the only one who´s loving these?
though I agree about the males pics with women, specially Affleck´s...

Wow, not what I expected at all! This is so, so dull. Nicole looks amazing, but I hate how she's not equal to the guy (who's dead in the face, btw). Amy's cover is cute as well. I'm surprised that Michelle's one turned out so forgettable due to the styling, but the Stone/Affleck one is the worst for me. I've just had enough of both these two to last me a century! Yet again W magazine comes across as exceedingly mediocre. This is supposed to be somewhat of a highlight for them. Bring on some hf glamour, so why do we get a series of Entertainment Weekly-style covers?

Must say, I'm shocked that Tonchi decided to go ahead with Casey Affleck despite all the allegations. Yes, maybe he delivered a very good performance (I've yet to see that film), but if Nate Parker is being shunned, so should he.

The only thing I like about this is "coming together"

One fashion ed -

Ala Mode
Photographed by Alasdair McLellan
Styled by Edward Enninful
Models Ellen Rosa, Irina Shayk, Stella Maxwell, Vitoria C
kind of all over the place

I received the Amy Adams-Matthew M cover, and you can see not only his skin texture but more importantly HERS! Thank you W for showing a woman looking like a real human with real skin!

^ I was about to say the same thing. It's incredible how that happened.

I'm afraid to admit it but I love that editorial. Just gorgeous pictures to look at, nothing more, nothing less.

I think visualize fashion left one, here is for vittoria:smile:

W magazine

Irina looks like Kim Kardashian in Balenciaga, so it's a big NO for me. Don't like either of them. There are some great ideas in this edit, wish Alasdair would've just stuck with one. This multi-approach clearly an epidemic at this stage.

The shot of Vittoria in McQueen with the Eiffel Tower in the background is everything.

Ellen is everywhere. She's on fire! Love the editorial. They all look good, but Elle as usual, imo, is a standout. Her beauty is out of this world.
