What Are You Reading?

^^i kind of agree with you Maya. I read it in HS, then read it 10 years later when my parents sent me a box of my old stuff and I felt the same way.

Meat is Murder-a v. short book about The Smiths from the 33 1/3 series. Next is ABBA!!!

I'm reading two books right now... one in swedish, "Det verkliga livet" (The real life) by a danish author called Hanne-Vibeke Holst, and one book in english called "Three Summers" by Margarita Liberaki.

Francis Fukuyama 'Our posthuman future"
consequences of the Biotech Revolution

StellaStorm, i'll be very interested in your views on
greek author Margarita Liberaki.

I just started Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk last night. It's the only book from him I haven't read, and I love it already.

You like Delicatessen, you like sick. B)

kiryu no naru oto (meaning "the howling of aerial currents") by Yusuke Maki

this is a very interesting essay based on Carlos Castaneda's the teaching of Don Juan, a separate reality, journey to ixtlan and tales of power. I read it in my school days, and now over again. if there exists the English version of it, I can recommend it to faust.

I loved Delicatessen, I gues I like sick too.

Has anybody read Glamourama? I think I might try to read it again when I finish Survivor. I read it years ago, but found it oddly confusing.

Saturnine-I like Palahniuk's writing style and bizarre subject matters. You simply must read Invisible Monsters, my fav of all his books. Diary is my least fav, but still very good.
