i really enjoyed the history of the world in 10 1/2 chapters. very clever, funny, and some really touching parts too.

I'm finishing up The Next Time You See Me by Holly Goddard Jones, and re-reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt.
Both are amazing.

just finished Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal. i both laughed out loud and cried like a baby in this book. beautiful.

I noticed a lot of us are reading sort of Gothic/Horror novels at the moment, so I thought I'd share this list of the "50 Scariest Books" in keeping with our current choices, and considering Halloween is around the corner.
