belle and sebastian, yeah yeah yeahs, inara george, the decemberists, sonic youth, old folksy beck, nouvelle vague, and this wierd mini cd that i bought at blue chips. it's like techno lullabys. knocks my brother out like a lamp.
http://www.jamie-t.com/ JAMIE T!! seriously man, anyone in London or across England should really try and check him out, he's gonna be massive. Apparently he was in dazed recently(ish). Go listen to the songs man, they're fantabulous
This is an NME review, though he's more indie than they make out:
"Jamie T is a young man not only brazenly flaunts this year's top chav fasion but also seems to have channelled the spirit of Bob MArley via The Streets with only an acoustic guitar for company. Sheila is already a classic, an urban folk funk tale of booze and birds that is only topped by his cover of Billy Bragg's "New England". Amazing"
Also Artic Monkeys, the bootlegs from when they played in december at a clubnight I go to regularly as their first london gig.
(Although I have better quality versions if anyone wants me to send them.)
