what colours are "in" this year?

bright tropical girly colors are going to be alll the rage for spring, which I dig cuzz it's just my usual way of dressing- i'll be hip!
the only reason i ever care what colors are in is cuzz i am a fair blonde, a "spring" and usually only buy colors that flatter me- if it's a season of muted pastels or muted anything- like pumpkin or mauve- i know i am totally screwed.

what "season" are you and do you buy the appropriate colors or just whatever catches your eye?

all the boutiques and some mags are saying that purple and green are in this season, i don't know...i wear what i feel like. =D

mmmm...i loved a lemony yellow chiffon dress (empire bodice) in the Alexander McQueen Spring 2005 RTW... I have never really tried much yellow, I have an olive complexion... Meh, I think it will be fabulous.
I'm also going to try pairing the cornflower blue with some nudes this spring (throwback to Dell'Acqua) - when I have time to learn how to post pics I will post examples.

mine

turquoize/powder blue

purple

silver

cherry red

silver

black

cream

chocolate

mmm yellow.. I'm not sure if yellow is the hot colour of the season, but I'm gonna go with it

For winter: purple, black and slightly deep (slightly turquoise) green.

But who cares anyway, wear colors you like.

I can see that you love green, Jadedomega.

I myself love green and purple.

Spring palettes are fairly muted from what i've seen so far... very light grays and pinks and greens...

I still am loving the jewel tones from this fall..

I think it's going to be lots of white and bright colors in spring.

For spring (and according to some dumb magazines that I read anyways) it's supposed to be white, ocean blue, palettes of a really soft grey, turquoise and a bit of yellow here and there.

I'm liking these predictions. White's my all-time fave colour.

i think dove grey would look great
also navy blue-it goes extremely well with a brown leather handbag...
for a bit of bright colour, turquoise (as seen at Matthew Williamson) is a great colour
