lots of things for an upcoming backcountry hiking trip:

to compensate, i've been doing more shopping in thrift stores than in dept stores:
plaid hat, burberry trench, rain pants, vera scarf

Burberry trench at thrift store prices--how exciting!!! Have fun on your trip ...

It's hard to say without seeing the fabric in person, but just from the photo, it looks a bit too shiny ...
