OMG Prom!! I miss mine already... I had a super blast :buzz:

hehe. my prom was despressing. the drama club made it into their own personal fundraiser, hiked up ticket prices to 125 dollars a couple, 80 for a single ticket, and used STREAMERS all over and some idiot DJ who played the worst house mix i've ever heard... but the drama club made almost 8 thousand dollars post-cost to make the plays for the next year FABULOUS!

all at the expense of our prom. it was even in the yearbook as "the worst prom EVER" hahahaha!

Wow! I really like that dress. It is so very dramatic. Red is one of my favorite clothing colors.

A pair of white with black stripes Adidas - the split-soled yoga kind- very comfortable for me- I haven't much of an arch in my foot :(

A cute pair of vintage earrings- a small gold star with a tiny diamond and a gold rope at the bottom with the earring's back on it. The rope forms a hoop when you put the back on. 80s chic :ninja: if that's possible

Turkish ground coffee

I didn't buy anything today, except for sushi at dinner, and more drinks than I care to remember at the place we went to after... I even got a drink on the house... :ninja:

mmmm drinksssss :ninja:

i bought magazines - lucky, wwd the magazine, vouge, and harper's bazaar....i am starting to like harpar's bazaar a whole lot...

Yesterday I bought two tiny potted palms and two different types of ferns. The ferns live in my kitchen now, and the potted palm live in my sewing room. I think I may be the only tFS-er who impulse-buys houseplants.

Went mall/shop hopping, I went to 3 malls today..

3 pairs of kooky earrings
-pink round ones that dangle..kinda like tpg's avatar, but much smaller
-green stars on silver chains
-white dangle cassette tape with jewels on it..

white floral skirt
a green skirt that is slightly lighter on top, darker on the bottom

a really odd kinda pyramid shaped cigar box turned purse w/ black bamboo handle

tongue piercing balls in
blue, purple,hot pink, white/pink combo, white/green/turqoise combo , black/white combo, dark&light blue combo

burburry purfume
bvlgari baby purfume

and a few CD's

I was in the Gucci store on Long Island today and there was the most amazing black leather motercycle jacket in Gucci, it was $2500 (I thought it was actually not too bad price wise, I mean, for Gucci Italian leather anyway) It's a good thing I don;t have a credit card cause I would be wearing it right now.

pale yellow tank and apple green canvas bag at the gap...

spent less than $20 on the two because they were on sale...!!! :P :innocent:

Ditto...I've been good..I stay away from the high end designer shops and I've been leaving my credit card at home...cuz if I chance go to to a designer shop I can just look and cant buy anything but maybe a freaking wallet with my cash ...

Haha like an addict: I have been couture free for 18 days.

AYLi- I totally buy houseplants whenever and wherever I can

In my neighborhood there are small florist shops all over and they have their plants and flowers on the sidewalks when its warm. My BF has to literally drag me from them when we are walking somewhere. Its always been bad :( but is is so much worse now that I am beautifying my garden in my newish apartment :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower: :flower:

My husband laughs at me when I come home from the City Market or the home-and-garden shop with more plants. My parents' living room is like a giant conservatory with plants everywhere and rattan furniture--beautiful and airy. I am getting to the point where I have plants in every room, but I have to be sure to keep them out of reach of the cats. Some stuff, especially spider plants and anything with dangly leaves or vines, the cats think are toys. They like to eat spider plants, and Sugar was giving the potted palms a sidewise glance before I put them up in the sewing room.
